Anyone else listening to the audio book? This must be the most jarring listening experience I have ever had. Sounds like the automatic tiktok voiceovers. I honestly can only bare 20 minutes at a time. Who okayed this?

I have to say goodreads community, I'm disappointed- how did you vote this the winner of nonfiction? I read this after reading the amazing, thoughtful, nuanced Doppelganger by Naomi Klein. This in comparison is a children's book. Things I've learned are pretty much nonexistent. It is a superficial hastily written book.

This book will not age well, to be honest I don’t understand how it was published.
He is unbelievably judgmental and rude about people he delivers to. “I buzz and am met with the
sight of a corpulent man wearing nothing but his piss-stained pants, which I can smell from six feet
away. He’s has (sic) wiry black hair sprouting out of the white blubber that covers his bones, tattoos
everywhere"
