DNFing. I tried I truly did. I just could not get on board with the timeline of this book. Engagement of convenience but like just to get his mom off his back about dating? Babe. Those are not high stakes. Also, they were friends for 16 years and then they just all of a sudden want to make out? I don’t know. I just didn’t really buy into it.

So I’m in the depths of my third reread of this book (shut up sometimes predictability is comforting) and just saw I rated this 2 stars when I first read it. 2 STARS. Anyways this is me saying that I can be wrong and sometimes you should give things a second chance.

Unfortunately my Libby loan became available when my parents were in town and I was moving so I did not get farther than the Reaping before it was forcibly ripped from my hands (electronically returned to the library without my consent). I started rereading biting 13 immediately after finish releasing 10 because I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugh and Lizzie. Let me just say, if I had to be in a friend group the way Lizzie has to be in a friend group with Hugh after spending nine years in love with someone I’d act like a bitch too.

Another day, another comfort reread

I really wish TikTok didn’t immediately spoil so many parts of this book because now I’m terrified to go any farther (yes I could’ve scrolled, but no I didn’t scroll)

If I had any qualms about Violet being a badass, they no longer exist.

I genuinely cannot keep up with this book. There is so much going on and so many names and places that I am supposed to remember. That being said, great book but terrified of journey that I am about to go on.

I can no longer put this book off. It’s crunch time yall
