DNFing. I tried I truly did. I just could not get on board with the timeline of this book. Engagement of convenience but like just to get his mom off his back about dating? Babe. Those are not high stakes. Also, they were friends for 16 years and then they just all of a sudden want to make out? I don’t know. I just didn’t really buy into it.

So I’m in the depths of my third reread of this book (shut up sometimes predictability is comforting) and just saw I rated this 2 stars when I first read it. 2 STARS. Anyways this is me saying that I can be wrong and sometimes you should give things a second chance.

I started rereading biting 13 immediately after finish releasing 10 because I couldn’t stop thinking about Hugh and Lizzie. Let me just say, if I had to be in a friend group the way Lizzie has to be in a friend group with Hugh after spending nine years in love with someone I’d act like a bitch too.
