This novel is best listened to even though it’s long. I loved the first half—great characters. At about 60% complete it grew slow and repetitive. The main adult character seemed to change from a problem-solving smart lady to an unsure, whiny female. I’m anxious to see how this ends, but I think the movie (I’m sure there will be one.) will solve the length in this story.

It started out interesting but sad. At this point hockey is the save. It has my attention.

Interesting but not certain where this is going. I gave up once and then returned. Tried audio version but narrator’s raspy voice was annoying and more than this retired SLP could tolerate.

I love these recurring characters. So far, this one is just as good as The Searcher.
