The book is full of interesting perspectives and hits too close to home sometimes, which is a blessing and a curse. I do hate the repetitive writing, I've read the same sentence 20 times. It's overkill for me, which makes it a tough read for me personally, but I'm sure others might appreciate it.

50 pages in and I have to acknowledge that this book will definitely do something good, even if I'm not certain it will help me during my flight next month. The 5-4-3-2-1 exercise to step out of an anxiety cycle looks to be worth it on its own, which is something I will definitely introduce in my day to day life.

Slowly getting there, but I get more depressed the more I read so slow and steady wins the race. Once again, this book is a real eye opener and already changed the way I look at food when I buy groceries. One step closer to stop eating my favorite chocolate 💔

This quote is making me so incredibly mad, this book is so unbelievably stupid:

This book is so unbelievably bad, I can't believe they made this into a show. The only reason I'm even reading this is because I want to understand the twitter hate about the characters

With all due respect, this book shouldn't be this long. It's 75% of the main character being negative about herself for no legitimate reason. And I get feeling betrayed, feeling ugly and unworthy of love, but this dude wants to love her. He physically doesn't have his heart. So instead of putting 1+1 together, she breaks her own heart constantly for no reason at all. I'm so close to DNF'ing, I'm getting sick of this.

The story is finally picking up the pace. The number of challenges she has to go through is too much imo, but let's see if they're all worth it in the end.

This reads like my own written wattpad fanfictions from when I was 12. The concept is really cool and anything that dedicates a story to Zutara is a win, but the writing makes me want to DNF.

Why am I so surprised that every single character is completely in character and everything they say or do actually fits the picture I have of them in my mind? I will never not be grateful for Suzanne Collins.

Page 89, and I've cried AGAIN. Suzanne is so smart with all the callbacks and cameos. Everything feels like it fits completely into the story. We all know how this book ends, but the journey we have to undertake to get to the end is heartbreaking.

Page 36 and I'm already crying, this book is going to do damage.

I'm sweating bullets from fear and anxiety, this book is so good, I seriously can't deal with myself. I am seriously so close to crashing out because of the stress, how can reading this book be torture but also be such a wonderful experience. Omw to finish this right now

Sometimes, it's a pretty tough read because of all the scientific terms, but it's so incredibly interesting to read the science behind everything!

I need to air out my frustration. SPOILERS her bf cheats on her, so she makes a profile on the dating app he uses to catch him in the act. She matches up with her boss, doesn't tell him anything while catfishing him. He asks her out irl without knowing anything and now, at this point, I feel the unnecessary conflict coming and I fucking hate it. Just tell the truth fucking dumbass😭😭

I'm slowly getting there, what love doesn't make you do

I'm going to finish the book today but wanted to make very clear that I'm really close to just DNF-ing this book at this point. It's literal porn without plot, which in itself wouldn't be the end of the world, but I'm getting sick and tired of both their insecurities and inability to just talk to each other.

Ook bij deze een hiatus van bijna een jaar. Echt een puur nostalgisch comfort boek. Het is wel echt wennen om van Engels weer naar het Nederlands te gaan (en aan het feit dat er zo enorm veel fouten in dit boek staan. En laat me niet beginnen over de afschuwelijke zinsopbouw).

Picked this back up after more than a year. The story is finally picking up again. I get why Maas wrote this book and why it takes place on a whole different continent than the rest of the series, but man is it boring to have to read new world building in such detail at like book 6 of a series. I do nog recommend authors doing this because people will NOT have the motivation to read.

Damn this book was bigger than expected. I got the ARC oppettunity but I can't seem to want to read for hours on end. The story is good but the writing has gone downhill since the first two books. So many full on porn without plot chapters that are actually useless. They don't serve the plot or the romance at all, which is fine but so many??

Loving it so far, I need more POTO retellings because I am a sucker for the Phantom (we have to thank Ramin Karimloo for that)
