Picked this back up after more than a year. The story is finally picking up again. I get why Maas wrote this book and why it takes place on a whole different continent than the rest of the series, but man is it boring to have to read new world building in such detail at like book 6 of a series. I do nog recommend authors doing this because people will NOT have the motivation to read.

I know it’s a very important part of the series but I simply don’t care about these stories tbh. I might change my mind if I get further into the book but my god am I going through it slowly.
