The first half was a slog for me, I appreciate the character building, now that I’m on the other side. I have a sinking feeling that this book is going to end in a cliffhanger and I’m not happy about that. I want everyone to be okay when I read the last sentence.

Not loving it. The internal monologue is repetitive and does not enhance my understanding of the characters or story.
