Technically finished. deciding if I want to work through the Bible Study at the end.

I've already seen the movie, but I'm really enjoying this, mostly for the bits that the movie had to cut! Like Watney's obsessions with the old tv shows. :)

So remember my critique of the beginning of "O Pioneers!"? Where it was essential Wilder's "The Long Winter" but harsher? And then I was so happy when it was over in the first chapter? Yeah, this one is lasting much longer, simply because there is a family woefully unprepared to survive the prairie so every season they are struggling to stay alive, but the winter is the harshest.
