a fair way in and it’s a bit repetitive. not sure if it’s the writing or the translation but writing feels a bit simplistic

not sure about this at the mo… feel like the writing is worse than the previous two books, their conversations feel weird and disjointed, like any point the author wants to make they have to scream in your face. might be a dnf for me.

not sure so far… not really clicking with the writing. feels a bit more YA than adult romance.

really enjoying it! very talented writing and loving the way she’s weaving together profound thoughts on topics of race and culture with storytelling! makes it very easy to read and follow.
