Blind date with a book gift from my mom, a nice 'chapter before bed' book so far. Interesting to be told as an elder woman remembering herself as a young girl, as opposed to telling it from a young girls perspective. It adds weight to the tone of storytelling and foreshadows an eventual fall of innocence.

a read started perusing my bookshelves at home over Christmas when I saw this signed first edition I'd thrifted. Loved the light and whimsy Enchantment of Ravens by Rogerson so excited to see how this lengthier read plays out.

I’m trying to figure out what makes this book so bad, currently what I’ve got is that it’s written at a middle grade level

I was walking down the street, someone asked if I’d like a bootleg six of crows, apparently I’ve boughten it. This book is fighting for 3 stars, the plot is so solid and alas the writing and characters are falling apart at the seams of this poorly made knockoff.
