Okay I figured out what seems off about Scarlett - seems like she's too boy crazy. (I am 100% bias here) but I feel like the nerdy, responsible stubborn "cock blocker" shouldn't also be going on and on and on about the hot guys on jock row. It's too desperate.

I'm having a hard time nailing down what is the "fake" part of their dating. It just seems like they are really dating and like each other? They keep talking about how it won't last but that's different from it being fake

so far Aiden's characterization is a little all over the place - is he "the responsible one" or is he a "dancing through life" type. I feel like the author is trying to create a lot of differences between him and Summer but she's also trying to make him out to be this role model people look up to. And it's not quite lining up right now

I think she uses too many modifiers. Every sentence is long, complex, and has a ton of prepositional and gerund phrases. It's like every single one is a run-on with unnecessary information.
