i’m rereading this series for my book club (and it’s tenth anniversary) but the exclusive edition i’m reading isn’t available on goodreads, which is the prettiest and most expensive book i own (and Bardugo herself has annotated)

the bits about Horace getting a Ranger’s cloak have to be some of the funniest jokes in this series

i think so far this is the most interesting villain in the series, as we get to know him a lot better than all of the others, AND he’s not just a black-and-white antagonist, but we get to see him doubting himself and regretting what he’s done. the best villains are the ones who could’ve been good in the right circumstances.

forgot how much i like Will’s undercover, it’s so much fun
