kind of really over this but i’ve put enough time into it that i don’t want to waste. was expecting more for sure.

very brutal and blood centric but still somehow moving a little slowlyyyyy. new sub book tho so poss just hard to get fully immersed? idk

i’m confused where or when we are because we are in a non existent city with a very distinct geographical landmark, yet the grand canyon and roman architecture and twilight movies exist. like yes it’s fantasy but in a mortal instruments low fantasy way where only some people can usually notice the fantastical beings but i’m a little lost in what the world is supposed to be

the way this woman writes her men…. and a headstrong woman…. always phenomenal

cracking open a massive physical novel with that new book smell hits so hard

defo very intrigued so far — also have noticed one or two typos but i usually blame that on the ebook translation from physical print bc it happens a lot

realizing this might be a love triangle which i’m not to happy about… but i have been charmed by the first 100 pages so i must continue

if yall couldn’t tell by my updates…. would loveeee any historical fiction rec. bonus points if there’s any fantasy in there á la poppy war (but preferably less devastating)

Okayyyy starting off with a literal bang! How is it I start these books by this woman convinced I will not cry.... It is already not looking good for me

ok i’ve been able to tell what the plan is with these men from the get go so can we just get to the point where we get with the bad guy i prefer him

The amount of growling and snarling happening in this book has never before been seen

was really proud of my reading goal but realized many books have been double counted somehow…..
