I just the viewers ate this shit up

I know nothing about hockey but the last scene with the narrating of game 7 was entertaining. Also there were brief instances where you felt the chemistry between them in the book. So there is potential to write something good. This was unfortunately not it though

This was bad. Im convinced the author didn’t proof read it or have any beta readers. It made no sense ‘you know all about my family in stockholm’ no i dont you didnt even mention them to him once. ‘How the team ralied aeound you both. No they railed around the both of us’ like wtf am i reading rn. There were more stuff along those lines throughout the book. The ‘smut’ scenes were also poorly written.

I like the characters but the writing is bad, for a dark rom it just dordnt make sense that the characters so freely dhare their feelings, but also it was kind of contradicting

This needs work I see the idea but can be better executed

This was great. Love the depression representation how it doesn’t slways stem from a super traumatic incident.

This had potential but was disappointing

Something went wrong hete, not sure what exactly, but it fell flat. It had the right tropes, good elements but the characters personalty wise didn’t really match prevoius books but were also a bit superficial compared to the other books where you got to know them deepwr in a way idk.

This sucked, i had higher expectations. Also don’t like merci he’s just annoying. I don’t get the viktor comparison they are nothing alike. Atleast that’s not how it comes across O think tht might have been the author’s intention, but it was not giving. Even in the other books dude gets progressively more annoying which I don’t get hows that possible since it wasn’t even his book

Fell a bit flat for me. Was longer than needed to be. But I liked the ending though did not expect that of him. But I also feel it would have been funner (don’t think that’s a word) if it was revealed throughout the book while he was still a captive from her

I didn’t like that he had yo go from alpha to omega though kinda ruined the whole premise that they are both alphas in love

Well I didnt like this but atleast the man follewed through on his promise to marek and is actually a badass. Oh I did not like marek, also don’t like that the brother had to die. They couldve just made him injured or something, and it annoys me that his death was a result of the russian’s (cant remember his name rn) ego

Oh they didn’t mention if luc won the superbowl or not. I mean I guess not since I think they would’ve said something but it’s weird that they didn’t mention it at all in the epilogue

This was a tough one as the writing was basura but I got through it. The story was ok couldve been better executed but I blame the writing/ writing style

And I would expect them to relapse. Simply because that ALWAYS happens in shows and books. And yeah the authors want to portray it as real as possible BUT it’s NOT ALWAYS irl do they cave into their need for the drug. They struggle with temptation more with certain life stress events for sure but that doesn’t mean, that oh they automatically succumb to their craving.. I feel like I rambled and not sure if I made.

The banter the cutesy moments loved it. I hope that in later episodes seong jae doesn’t relapse. Because I know although that is always a possibility since they are fighting that craving each day, you do have people that don’t relapse. But I noticed in books or in tv shows, the character always relapse, which is disappointing because it’s legit come to a point where a character mentions they are in recovery…

Simply because structured like this its feels kind of like a slow burn

Freaking finally togethet!!! Yayyy and I liked this case. This series is different for me, cause it’s my first time reading a series structured like atv series so with episodes and stuff it was definitely an adjustment at the beginning so like the first 2 books but now I think I got the hang of it. I like it but I do miss the simplicity of book with everything at once.

I didn’t like this case. But I like that malcom and seong jae got close and cleared the air about some stuff

Feels as if it comes second to their constant fight of helplessness, disgust. Which by the authors nite is in a way what they wanted to focus on. But idk I feel by writing it how it is written kind of dims the ‘allure of a mystery to solve’

The writing style is different in a way not sure that I like. But I don’t fully dislike. Or maybe it’s what the detectives mainly focus on that I don’t like. Malcolm had constant struggles with not wanting to show too much empathy but also disgust( yoon was also like this to a degree). But im used to detectives focusing on the behavioral aspects of the case, motive, victimology (which they fo focus on) but

Oh and then you have stanton. Didn’t like the man in book 1-3 but jeez you can’t help but feel bad for the fool.
