I just can't finish this book. I don't know why people think it's interesting.

Having a hard time getting through this book. It's sad and too close to my own upbringing.

I stopped reading this book. It got seriously degrading when a vicar sleeps with his wife’s 15 year old sister. Awful.

Shame, yes, this is truly the issue within families that creates so much pain.

This is a hard book for me to read. I loved Chaim Potok's book, The Chosen. I don't like this one.

Such an intense read. I need a chart of characters to keep them all straight. Ha ha.

At least this one takes off from Gathering Blue.

I really could not get into this book. It is a Christian author trying to marry the Christian Faith to Cosmic Humanist beliefs. I just do not see how those fit at all.

Knowing the author was young when she wrote this, as she is a friend of my son and daughter, it is a good book. Some little errors here and there, but clean.

I am loving this book! It is exactly what my heart and soul has searched for in my desire to downsize our home, free ourselves from the burdens of too much stuff, and give us freedom from so much time spent tidying.

Electronic checkout expired before I could finish...I hate that. Lots of language, skipping all that.

Kind of interesting, but a bit gory.

I am learning so much about George Washington's character, grace, and morality in this book. I wish more men were like him.

Hmmm...so a woman educating her own child is unprepared, spoiling the child, and making a mistake? I have not read far enough to know if this is the author's stance or not. Either way, it is sad.

This book is a pretty fascinating read. I find it interesting that a boy who dropped out of school at 15 became one of the most well-known and loved writers of his time.

The writing is just not as good as the storyline. Weird.
