This book is really cool conceptually,but the writing pulls me out of it. So her wolf is granting her these visions of her childhood before she could have remembered? How is this possible. Loose magic systems ex machina activated.

Maybe I would have liked the nickname if he coined it after seeing her fire magic. Or if he saw her firey temper I guess..

How tall is our fmc that an 8 year old was able to slap her easily.. or is it a really tall 8 year old?

Makes sense with the weird Canon that Shifters are stuck in whatever body they transition in and the author has teens and an 8 year old who found their wolves. I'm glad that mates aren't common because it would give "Jacob imprinting on baby Renesmee vibes"

I kinda wish that she wasn't the perfect werewolf already. She's pretty good at controlling the wolf from shifting during high emotions. I feel like since she's shifted less than 10 times. Her wolf should be shifting them against her own will. This really defies the "weak little witch" thing the author is going for

I'm really glad her first thoughts when she came to were about her sister and familiar. Even if her initial sleepy thoughts were about Gideon and hearing a woman in the kitchen, immediately stewing with anger over some other woman being around her mate. For someone who hasn't been a wolf long, she sure is picking up on the "subtleties " that come with their territorial nature

So Lian has been slaughtered.. I feel like maybe I was supposed to feel sadder but we don't know this character at all. Like he was nice I guess and he was defending her..

I'm really having a hard time keeping up. It seems like the author had an idea of where she wanted to go with the story, but didn't develop it enough. Characters and dynamics feel super forced and I think this is a dnf already, but I'll stick with it for now. I give it 100 pages to change my mind.

I appreciate the TWs at the beginning of the book because the plot wastes no time in going right into the traumatic background. Not every author includes TWs, so kudos!

The book is starting to get spicy, matching the title. Every time they are close to doing something, Hades stops them. But I don't blame him, he wants her to remember, to love him back before they commit to their bond again. I wonder if Minthe is going to become more of an issue. I was expecting more competition among the two

Okay with the banter lol this actually made me chuckle out loud.

The chemistry is heating up between these two I have to admit. I'm nervous but excited for what happens when she finally remembers that they are Fated to one another.

I like this explanation of her powers. It's not forced coercion, its just heightening emotions. These two are on fire

The harsher tension has left these two but there's this lingering feeling of want. I'm glad I am sticking with this book, I just wish for little corrections here and there

Skop is very funny, but I'm glad Hades has a physical form. I like that Hades and persephone have tension though, she left, of course he'd be angry towards her. I do hope they have a moment soon. That tension is going to turn steamy I can feel it
