Started reading this bc it’s similar to the book I’m writing and I really wasn’t liking it but then a plot twist just happened and OOHH THINGS HAVE JUST GOTTEN INTERESTING I’m all in now

I was (am) much more terrified going into this book than I did for Carrie—a literal horror novel

So I read a couple pages of this and went eh but then realized i was actually 13% in so I might as well read the whole thing

Literally fuck guys with names starting with J UGH

Shit I stayed up WAYY too late reading this….. ITS SO ADDICTING

It’s cute

Ok I picked this book back up but so far I feel like it just keeps repeating these same three narrative tactics:

1. “My wife is distant and aloof after going deep in the sea ugh”
2. Main character once read this book, describes said book, relates it to something about the present day, then says a super deep line about the world
3. Goes on about someone else in their life that’s irrelevant to the plot

Parvati is THE reality tv queen. The OG girl’s girl man eater. I will forever defend her

God I LOVE this

Thank you Lesbian Jesus (and her publisher) for sending me this ARC and bestowing the honor of reading and reviewing the book onto me. I won’t let you down🫡

Someone pinch me I got approved an ARC of the US publication of this book??? I’m SO excited!!!!

I really don’t like the fake dating trope but this is like such a classic sapphic romance that’s I have to read it. Good so far! Much more astrology than I thought going in… I’m a bit like Darcy on that end but oh well
