So I'm only a few pages in and I already have a new favorite contemporary romance author. I don't know Alyssa Cole's life, but she so understands grad school woes. God bless and I hope her loans are paid off!

Pro-tip: Read "The New Avengers: Vol 1" before reading this. It gives a little back story to the first issue.

It's been moving really quickly. I'm afraid I went too long between readings at times, but it's all coming together. I'm not a huge fan of the love triangle, but I absolutely adore what's happening with Irsa. It's going to be interesting to see how everything gets resolved. There are a lot of things going on so far!

Dang this is fast paced! Pg 8 chapter 4. It's amazing so far, but I had to put it down for that technology I take for granted: plumbing that makes the shower go. So far loving the writer and characterization.

Hammer's explanation of the way Al Qaeda moved slowly into Mali and Timbuktu really ratchets up the tension when he starts to describe Haidara's escapades. It's also interesting to hear how the Imams of Timbuktu reacted to the occupation. So many people think people greet the terrorists with open arms. The people Hammer describes either openly defied them or chose to work with them to keep their people safe.
