I'm getting tired of historical romance books having covers that look innocent but are not. *shakes fist* I went to check and the author usually has covers that are obvious of how spicy they are.

I have a lot to say about this book. But basically, I hate Rochester. He is annoying person who plays with Janes emotions and kind of doesn't really explain himself why he is giving off manipulative vibes. She saves his life by throwing water on him and he looks into his eyes and is instantly in love? If a man talked like he did to me I would ghost him. Harder than his ex wife.

I don't think the Bronte sisters are for me, but I am glad I was able to cross this and her sisters book off as being read.

My god, Cathy is annoying, Heathcliffe is so angry as f.

Running into this author again. It was free. The Mummy comp is what sold me.

This is a strange book. My review will echo that.

Feb shall be my romance or romance adjacent month. I have decided, finally, to tackle the two toxic (?) romances: Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. I heard so much about them that I think it's time to actually know them by the text. Feel free to recommend any other 'to-read' books I got on my list. (Not taking any new additions.)

This book is addicting. I can see it being a film or a tv show.

I feel like a proud mom when I say I was one of the first reviews for Weavingshaw and seeing all the good reviews popping up and people adding it gives me hope for gothic fantasy. Hope you all are ready for it when it drops in Feb. (I need to choose what version of the book I want.)

Between a 3 and 4. Not sure what to say about it. The characters are nice, it just feels too modern.

Back to reading a few ARCs.

I get annoyed at quasi modern fantasy world books. Elevators, board games, but we dress in leathers and we have taverns? ...

We going places. Also, nice to see a 50 year old female protagonist.

It's a nice read. Not a lot of world building.

This book is a boring ass lemon.

Kind of blitzing through this. It would make a crazy movie.

I feel my life is to just give three stars to things. I'm not one of those people who give out 4 or 5 stars, or even 1 or 2. It's just... sad. I want another 5 star book.
