The writing isn't bad but I hate a lot of the plot points and tropes. I think the series is just not for me,,, occasionally I encounter descriptions that feel like nonsense

two secs in and the glossary had me press(for no reason) I'm skipping it

Every now and then I read a series so bad that I think of all the books I hated and feel bad because I didn't know what a truly terrible book(read: reading experience) was before this. Like,, I thought i did but I didn't and now i want to update old ratings-
