How can 3 chapters feel so long

Figure I should try it out before ordering a fancy copy… hmmm. So far I’m just kinda bored.

I like the idea. But I’m not invested…I’ll read a bit more I guess

This started so well but the last few chapters should have been combined. Too many ball jokes.

When the villains back story is more interesting than the MC … sigh

Mm it’s well written but the plot is pretty simple so far. Not a lot to enjoy as the topics are all dark. I feel like this whole book is just going to be her finding clues about why her husband is a monster so she can love him enough to kill him.

Hmmm I admit I don’t love this as much as I wanted to. It feels like a lot of telling and very little experiencing the moment.

I also feel like I already know how the rest of the story will unfold.

Maybe if I loved the MC more I wouldn’t mind that but she is pretty one dimensional. She’s so kind and ordinary even when she plots murder she feels rather ordinary.

I forgot most of what happened in the last book. But I’m sure it’s fine….

Really happy with this book so far. Love the magic. Some political intrigue. Thrown together adventure. The world about to be eaten by trees.

Already kinda regretting continueing. The FMC is just …. a little dumb. Is she a wolf or not 😅 vero survival instincts

Not gunna lie I kinda wish this book was over already. There just isn’t anything interesting left to happen. 🫣 doesn’t detract from my love for the first book. But yea my Brian’s already checked out. It’s HEA. Why do we need 250 more pages to catch a bad guy we could have already caught?

My hopes are pretty high with this one!

Only on chapter 3, but so far this is so cool.
