This book has wasted so much time getting to this point. Mikael is a very uninteresting character in this book.

I'm just saying, Larsson wouldn't have killed him off like that

Not a big fan of random time skips to start the story. The 'characters' page literally spoils events that happen in the book.

I adore this writing style. Very compelling prose. Loving the descriptions and dialogue and how the world and characters are being introduced.

Really dislike what was changed with characters from the original trilogy. Reused story telling from the originals. Uninteresting mystery.

Why would the killer be revealed so quickly? What will the rest of the book be?

It's taking so long for the plot to happen. So many side characters are being introduced that I couldn't care less for.

Adding on to the last note: "The old racists and regressives got together and stabbed Harriet in the back. I'll never forget that call I got from her. I've been rolled over. Crushed." Can all the plots laid in the previous books stopped being overturned? What is going on.

"It's not easy for an actress to grow older - the public don't love you anymore", followed by "she realised she failed her life's most important mission: motherhood", so gross

"I'm thinking of quitting Millennium" Like Mikael would ever say that, omg

I'm going to consider all books past the third as non-canonical. I'm hardly in the book yet, and I already hate the mischaracterisation of Mikael. Why is he so moody and miserable all of a sudden? No mentions of Monica, 55 pages in, and that whole song and dance of Lisbeth and Mikael being friendly again in book 3 just to not speak for years in book 4. Insane.
