Even though this plot line is so confusing, the stories within are so interesting. And the advice about life and faithis priceless.

My work was always prayer to me. As this text says “prayer in action “ Let your ordinary be astonishing and wonderful in prayer and gratitude to serve God and all His creation.

I’ve never read a book that warned and recommends that you skip a chapter if you were not ready for it, but ok…lol. Idt I’ll ever be ready for that chapter.

Not as difficult as first presented. Definitely interesting. Where will we go with all this in Hallow?

Meditative prayer is seeming like my favorite to learn about.

The author’s word choice is making this so vivid, suspenseful and exciting. I now find myself not wanting the story to end and being so curious about the ending all at the same time!

Most exciting chapter.

This last chapter was not as fulfilling as any of the rest. It could have been left out.

What the Lord is teaching me through this book is phenomenal. I hope my brain and heart will retain the specific ideas to enrich my prayer life and relationship with Our God.

“Sing to the Lord a new song” the importance of and how to sing the psalms.

What kind of rest is expected of us on the sabbath. A God driven one but not one of inactivity. Learned something so different than was taught to me.

God continues to teach me so much through this text, but this has to be my favorite chapter so far.

Not rushing through this text by savoring it. What The Lord is revealing is quenching.

Free on my digital reader. Has potential so far.

Part 1 all done. Good and practical knowledge gained. Written to be easily and comfortably read. Answers so many questions.

I’m actually rereading this book I never finished due to my aunt’s passing. I had forgotten how rich and addictive Foster’s imagery and word choice is! I hope you all get to read this book in your lifetime.

It’s hit paper-turner level?! What will happen with Carmen?

The style of writing is sometimes hard to follow. Luckily the Holy Spirit is having me understand what I think the Lord needs me to.

The first two chapters were awesome. I had a little trouble with chapter 3. It was kind of vague chapter 4, not as good as one and two but at least a little bit more poetic.
