We're onto the last book! The Wrath of Mulgarath 🤓

I need to get to sleep 😳 but this will definitely be a five star read for me. Last 5 star of the year just squeezing in the nick of time haha

This ARC has me in its grasp. This hasn't happened since My Darling Dreadful Thing earlier this year. I want to keep reading it but keep getting interrupted by christmas things 😅

Girl, if these two don't have sex soon imma be annoyed. There's only so many "he chuckled deeply and I felt it in my belly" I can take. Go see a stomach doctor!

Also have noticed instead of writing "turns around" for any movement at all, the author uses "rotate"...every damn time. You could make a drinking game of of it and be entirely wasted by the end of this book

The way this is written is bad. I’m sorry, but it is. It’s all over the place. There are repetitions when there don’t need to be and off character work with backstory. However I am enjoying the adventure calendar action of it all and I’m curious to see if my theory is correct because, your wife is missing for 5 days before you start looking for her? You’re my top suspect, Lenny. Joseph too.

Danny is a complete asshole of a character. The pacing is really slow, like it feels like a slow read. I'm getting restless with the constant family dynamic. Curious about Parsley and if my suspicions are confirmed or not. Yay for FMC and Parsley kissing. Hoping they get some time to themselves tbh 😅 Also very intrigued by the post apocalyptic set up of this story and what exactly the witches are.

I'm up to chapter 4, going to try and read it as intended, day by day, from here on out but might give myself some room either side so I don't fall behind.

Goodnight Kiss 2! They're feeding on dogs now? Too far. I do like the little backstory we got for the island though and how the second one ties into the first book.
