Sigh. There’s no way I’m making it through this. I’ve had a stank face or have been eye rolling for most of it. It’s just …not good.

I’m truly giving it the old college try here, but if I DNF this, I give up on this author. I literally considered tapping out at 3%😅🙇🏾‍♀️

Yikes. Started this and immediately got a character glossary and learned it’s a new series but in the world of the last MMM I dnf’d and includes some of the same characters (who I didn’t love the first time) 😫 here’s hoping the writing’s gotten better … 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Got this immediately after finishing the prequel, and the song that happened to play as i started it was One Direction’s “Same Mistakes”. I’m sure that bodes well 😅🫠 LFG!!

I tried. Hard. Zeke’s damsel and Arbor’s “I’m so BAD 👿” schticks are annoying, and this romance is unconvincing. DNF

DNF. I stopped caring several percents ago.

Premise: yay. Execution: not so much. Repetitive and very tell-y. Neither mc is very interesting. Arbor’s a lot of “I’m so dark and twisted” cliches🙄, and zeke’s only real personality traits are anxiety, feeling fat, and being into Arbor. 🙃

I hate when characters act like their lives aren’t literally on the line and just HAVE to get it on. If you don’t have any sense of self preservation, why should *I* care??

Did … these authors just have a gay man tell a straight woman she should be *grateful* for rough sex that she didn’t consent to or want? And I’m supposed to …root for him? They’ve got 1% to rectify that bs or all I’ll want for Dex is to see him die painfully- which I know I won’t get so I’ll just quit.

How is there still 40% left? I’m invested but confused about how much more is left to do… 😂
