There's something very nostalgic about listening to an audio book about a band I loved as a teenager while driving through the foothills near my parents' house.

American politicians love nothing more than proving stereotypes about Americans correct, and my ebook app loves nothing more than returning my audiobooks to the library before I'm finished with them.

When you read a book recommended to you without looking up what it's about the odds that it will contain the narrator having sex with Jesus are low but apparently never zero.

Books like Moby-Dick and Les Miserables make a lot more sense when you remember that back then people couldn't just google 'whale facts' or 'what's up with the Paris sewer system?'

I'd say the more history I read the less respect I have for the FBI, but that would imply I had any kind of positive opinion of them to begin with.
