I've probably said this a thousand times in my head, while reading this book that THE WRITING IS JUST PHENOMENAL !
The story is so unique and it's never what I'm expecting. Each paragraph, each chapter is shocking yet inevitable.
I've no idea where the story is going but ik it's gonna be gooooood.

The writing feels very much like Frederick Backman.
Really enjoying it.

People also commonly speak of the 'wound of a guilty conscience'. In my case, the wound appeared of itself when I was an infant, and with the passage of time, far from healing it has grown only deeper, until now it has reached the bone... though this is a very strange way to put it- the wound has gradually become dearer to me than my own flesh and blood.

I just read the story 'A Folklore for My Generation: A Prehistory of Late-Stage Capitalism'... It is so beautifully sad and made me so nostalgic and at the same time left me feeling so numb and hollow, I just had to write down my feelings somewhere.
A quote from the story - "It seems to me that very sad things always contain an element of the comical."

Not really liking the writing.

The writing is pretty good but at some points it feels like rough recording of his life, without any emotions.
And sometimes it's just too much, too much pretentious.
