Hooked from the prologues.

As usual, totally obsessed with how Paisley Hope writes her main characters and romance in general. The perfect mix of sweet connection & feels with a filthy-mouthed gentleman. 🥃😏

I cannot believe I have to actually do other things besides finish this story 🤣 I am dying to listen to the rest and move on to book 2!

This book is so intriguing. I can't stop listening. I wish it was a full cast so I could keep everyone clear but I do love the narrator.

Stopped this book via audio because it was horrifically narrated. HORRIFIC. Im waiting a bit and then want to try to eyeball read this one so I don't have the "old man" voice and the "learning a new language" voice haunting my imagination.

Paused after Common Goal and haven't decided if I'm going to read Role Model then Long Game or reverse the last two....

Will be switching to digital/print format this audio is off putting.

This has been another great read in the Game Changers series. I adore Ryan Price and I like the premise of this story. I love the way Rachel Reid writes allyship into character interactions. What a model for the world. ❤️ I'm also loving the depiction of a character with anxiety (though my experience tells me it's neurodivergent related anxiety from trying to function in a neurotypical world)

I have been enjoying this story. I was listening to the audiobook but I'm having trouble with a narrator choice and I think it's time to switch to eyeball reading or I'm almost certainly going to DNF. Reddit tells me this is an ongoing issue so I'm out. No wonder the Audible was on sale😬

Love the neurodivergent character rep. Again I'm distracted with the audio format and I should probably eyeball read but I'm slightly confused about this story having read both book 1 and 2 already and this is a novella that is considered "between" them.

I'm loving this story. And I kind of want to shake one of the characters.

Spoilery opinion: Maybe it's the fact that I've been married for coming up on 20 years but babe.... be so for real right now. Of course he's not over you. Please get your head out of your ass.

Male narrator no longer making me crazy, the slowest burn finally paying off 🫠

This has been a distracted listening experience made worse because I don't like the male narrator. 🫠 This is the second time I've wanted to love an Ali audio-only-book and had it somewhat spoiled by the narration. 😩

I'm a Christmas season girl so this book is still delightfully timed for the week.

This has been the longest slog of my life.... I think format has been a problem. Stay tuned for a review soon.

I may have skipped most of chapter 17 because I was over it. I'm about to skip some of chapter 20... maybe it's the audio but the spice is actually feeling just overdone. 😬 I'm curious where the story will go. I keep drawing a lot of comparisons and similarities to OTHER popular fantasy series and that's a bit meh.

I love Carrion. I'm primarily invested in this story for him right now.

Partially enjoying, partially too distracted and confused every time I listen, and partially lost/disinterested.

I am so obsessed with her writing. Gillig is just masterful and this has to be the most intriguing fantasy I've ever read! I am in awe of her brain
