Aaaand parents leaving a baby and small child with the recently graduated brother who has a roommate they haven't MET, baby proofing his apartment before they leave for a weekend? Do people do this? 🤣 I might be too old with too many kids to buy into this book.... genuinely wondering what editor let all these things slide because it's so distracting

I'm invested already in Leti and Julian. The writing is engaging. It feels light and fun.
But an 8 month old who just learned to walk? It can happen but writers... maybe go with an average? 🫠

I think the parents abandoned the plan. But even the inclusion of it makes me feel like this book is out of touch for any full grown adult (with kids at least) ...
