I wish this book had been around back in 2024 when I had my son. I'm only a fraction of the way through and its provided so much information and I truly feel it could help an first time mom navigate L&D. I love how she talks about the fact that it doesn't matter how much you prep, things will go the way the universe wants them and not always how you want them. Also, she has such a down to earth way. <3

When the plot hits a possible twist and your brain starts spinning.

The author is pushing you to think one thing while hinting at something in a completely different direction which makes me think out of option A or B the answer is clearly B or C.

Lucy's whole family is trash. That is all.

I'm trying to figure out how I feel about this book. I like the hallmark enemies to lovers troupe that's happening and the secret foodie love language happening. But the adult content where its more like a a high schooler "you show me yours and ill show you mine" mixed with peeping Tom vibes just isn't my thing. That doesn't mean its a bad book though, its still very well written and I will definitely finish it.
