i hate this book. i am finishing the last 2 hours (bc yes, 12% is 2 hours of audiobook) out of rage and contempt. how is this still dragging on. also, i don’t gaf that fluffy or shadow or whatever the cat’s name is died bc i didn’t realize she was that important to the mmc?? like huh

12 hours in now. grace has lost every job she ever applied for and now hudson is a 3rd grade teacher. grace admitted she is no longer in love w jackson bc they knew each other for 2 weeks (it’s been 1+ yrs in the shadow realm w hudson.) also the dragon came back and grace turned into a gargoyle. i couldn’t make this up if i wanted to. but, i couldn’t be this entertained if i had.

wow. somehow 6hrs of audiobook have gone by (OUT OF 19 BTW) and nothing has happened. i have laughed so hard at the RIDICULOUSNESS OF THIS BOOK but i kind of love it?? like wdym “fook” also bird calling as a pastime? also why/how was one chapter one day then all the sudden “it’s been eight weeks” HELLO BUT THEN THE LITERAL NEXT CHAPTER WAS “6 months have passed” AND NOW ITS BEEN A FULL YEAR???

i am purely reading this because of a delightfully disastrous video by cari can read and boy am i excited to cringe. to clarify, this book is what is terrible—cari’s video was hilarious
