I love this so far. It's giving Percy Jackson meets Legendborn, in a way. I absolutely adore Bri's dynamic with her moms, and this book is really funny and light, which is so needed after so many dark and depressing books ngl

So I'm restarting this yet again and I just feel very meh about it? It's a very slow start so far and I am seriously waiting for things to pick up. Also the writing isn't as prose heavy and atmospheric as I'd been hoping, I feel like for this kind of book it needs to be drenched in the setting and it's lowk generic I fear
