These two main characters ARE NOT BEST FRIENDS, they’re ex lovers that are keeping each other close under the guise of being business partners till their marriages fail. They should’ve just been the ones that got away.

Everyone is saying they love this book, but I absolutely hate the “ I’m best friends with the guy. I probably should’ve married instead of you” trope. Also, why is your best friend a guy anyway???? and also the theme of their podcast is really cringe
