So far, underwhelmed by this audiobook. The narrative is at times repetitive, circular, and pedantic. It repeats discussion of certain themes: the despicable Methodist religion in Puritan New England, the wretchedness of the plight of women in that era, and the author’s distrust of her co-author from the period of the murder.
To be continued.
