Forgot to add this on Friday July 10th; Reading this as my "Challenged Book" for Summer Reading Bingo at the James Prendergast Library in Jamestown, NY.

Starting this once I get home from the Library; it's time to reread one of my favorite CLAMP series. Too bad it's been on Hiatus since 2003... But I guess diverting fate is a good way to end the series.

Just a general update; trying to reset my reading goals and tactics. Joined our local library's summer reading program; expect to see updates related to that.

Shelving -- Waiting until I have book two to read.

I'm annotating this as I read using sticky strips, transparent sticky notes, and tabs. So far, I love the characters and the ease of this world, similar to ours, but with just enough differences. You can get hints of the influence of Jules Vern in the first few chapters, and the introduction to the novel helps show how important that influence still is even in this modern day of writing.

Getting close to finishing the second Warriors book, I plan on doing reviews later when I have more time. The next book I read outside of the Warriors series (I plan on returning to Rick Riordan's Daughter of the Deep) will be the first book I read with my new annotation toolkit (so many pretty colors!) so expect photos of that to show up on my blog.
