The cover really needs to be changed. She has red hair and he has blond hair and blue eyes. Both people on the current cover have dark hair.

I’ve been looking so forward to this and even did a re-read of Sebastian and Evie’s book so I was in the perfect mood for this one. However, I’m soo disappointed. Phoebe is no Evie. I know she’s not supposed to be but I adored Evie and I can barely stand phoebe. I really like West but I cannot feel anything but dislike for Phoebe.

In the prologue the H said his daughter was only 7 years old, chapter one opens up two years later, yet he says his daughter is 12 years old?!?!🤔 My math says 9 but maybe I’m missing something.

I’m at 70% and I still don’t like Anne! I have started and stopped this book probably 5 times or more because I can’t seem to make myself like her! I think I may take a couple days break again and see if I can finish. I really like Sydnam, the story line and the authors writing style, if only I could like Anne......

Ok I pushed on and still not liking it any better. He went off on her because she got his address and showed up but he’s done it to her twice now and when she mentions it, he says “Only the first time with this house, though. Now we're even." How’s that even? Plus he wants her to go into her grandmothers house only after (1-2 years) when he’s had his wife bedroom untouched for 19 years?!?!
