was reading an article in the NYT about all of the controversy surrounding this book, so naturally, i had to start reading immediately

the premise of this is so outrageous that i have to see what happens

the author has already used the word "surreptitiously" like 15 times CHANGE IT UP

i like the format of the book, but i'm still thrown off by it being fiction

imagine my surprise when i start reading this book and find out that it is in fact FICTION despite “a true crime novel” on the cover
