There are a few inconsistencies with the game's lore, and I'm not really jiving with the lack of severity on Cazador's method of control over the spawn. Plus, Astarion really likes sex here... which feels contradictory to his backstory in the game. Love Rooftop Henry, his spawn siblings, and the charm with some interactions though! Pros and cons all throughout!

Loving everything about this book. It's so easy to turn my brain off and enjoy the ride of Carl and Princess Donut.

This book is a fucking joy to read!

Phenomenal writing. Tons of grieving, heartbreak, and narcissistic tendencies from our female lead. I am so early into this book and I am enjoying it all the way through.

Shriver's writing is absolutely phenomenal, it definitely holds a lot of emotion for a mother who is grieving the life she had before she was pregnant—and her real feelings to navigating parenthood that she did not want to begin with.

The writing, the vibes, the world-building. Love it all so far.

I am really liking Kraus' writing. There's something about poetic wording that isn't too descriptive, yet it suits the emotions for our character, Jay, here just right.

I am currently having a blast with this one! Fun cannibalistic slasher so far, with vibes of a "campy fucked up horror story".

I am having a lot of fun reading this!

Literally almost every woman in this neighborhood is insufferable, especially the FMC.

This book is beautiful bruh I'm crying

The main character is soo insufferable, I really dislike her, but damn this story has gotten me hooked 🫣

Help I'm in this too deep and I couldn't stop crying

I'm enjoying it so far, although I think that I'm starting to fall a little flat on the story—but I think the story is good so far. Risa and Connor are my favorites, and Lev was meh but he is growing on me a little bit.

My boyfriend recommended this book to me—and I may have just started, but I am absolutely loving every bit of it. The dystopian nature is fantastic; the idea of how the war of pro-life and pro-choice in abortion has resulted into this being the outcome is very scary to me. Though I love this book already. And the characters. ❤️‍🩹

I may finally have found a new interest and love for romance books after so long!

I never thought I'd like this as much as I do at this very moment. I may actually end up liking romance smutty books after all, who knows.

This book is so brutal, but it's the kind of horror I've been wanting.

literally fuck this book but i am gonna keep pushing through and finish it

I'm picking the book up again since I'm at a good spot where I can try to finish it as soon as I can. But damn, I went into this wanting to like the book and I'm not really sure how to feel about it.

The writing is so.... this is gonna be hard for me to finish, lol. A book with less than 300 pages yet the writing is not really reeling me in.
