Pre-Read: I am genuinely worried that this book is going to be awful at portraying as Astarion. If I can find several fanfics on Ao3 that portray the character better than Kingfisher can, then I will be extremely disappointed.

"There are a few inconsistencies with the game's lore, and I'm not really jiving with the lack of severity on Cazador's method of control over the spawn. Plus, Astarion really likes sex here... which feels contradictory to his backstory in the game. Love Rooftop Henry, his spawn siblings, and the charm with some interactions though! Pros and cons all throughout!" — Oct 16, 2026 11:30AM
