talked to my therapist about this book and we concurred that there's not enough diversity in the hypotheticals. both in the technical sense of diversity (i spotted one LGBTQ couple so far) and the writing sense. Not all anxious people are gonna act like that !! Not all avoidants never want emotional intimacy!!

1) this book HATES avoidants. They are framed as the scum of the earth. Sorry my dad thinks emotions aren't real !! 2) this book LOVES anxious people. Sweet angel babies damaged by the world. 3) i unfortunately have both dogs in me
