Finished the eighth and last Anne Shirley book—Rilla of Ingleside! It is easily a 4.5 ⭐️ read.
Rilla, the youngest of Anne's children, undergoes remarkable development over the course of this tale. There is joy and there is sorrow; there is relief and there is grief; helplessness and responsibility—experiences that turn her from a vain teenager into a young woman of depth and wisdom.
I simply love this book!
