That was a very painful read omg, so well written, genuinely this chapter made my stomach twist. It hurts how relatable she was, I could never hold it against her for thinking that way, but the fall out after everything was so painfully predictable. To be a woman is to constantly be reduced to the fact that you are a mere woman after all. Poor Alice :((
