you can tell Carl is a textbook only child because he’s always calling people his brothers and sisters

I never, and I mean NEVER, reread books. like ever. I don’t even rewatch tv shows or movies. I’m always chasing the next story after finishing another. So, you know this series has me in a chokehold if I haven’t even finished the latest book but I’m going back to immersive read the entire series again. I am a changed woman.

i’m still stressed

even though carl was able to come to donut, Li Na took her job seriously at the cost of her family. She hasn’t even had time to grieve, and she’s basically leading the army without them. I wonder how this will change her.

I knew lucia was carls foil but holy shit this is big

that was incredibly selfish move from carl, but who can blame him? he constantly puts himself in harms way to save everyone else, and rarely does anything for his own sake. Half of the people dying are people he’s saved. Of course he would run to her, It’s donut, he can’t keep going without her. I just know this is about to screw everyone over, though. Li Na and Juice Box are about to flip.

I can’t even enjoy this moment of peace and fluff because all I can think about is who is going to die next 😭 like everyone is being too kind and too emotional rn I don’t want anyone to leave 😭
