i love YA books😫 they so easy to read😍 AND it’s very 2010s vibe this book which i’m living for!! (it came out in 2012😆) i love when there’s no modern phrases like it’s truly so refreshing

guys i’m struggling sm w this😫 the plot is interesting and the fan art is incredible but the words…. like im struggling to care and its so unfortunate because the story has potential and could be amazing i just am not liking the writing 💔

night 1 of reading this book and feeling very dumb because the writing is so advanced and has so many new words to learn 😃😃 i still get the gist of it
tho… and it’s my first book loan from work!!

here’s a lil update! (which i should have done last night so it was fresh on my mind but ill do it now from what i remember):
- i love this storyline! i think its so creative and original and different from anything ive read before and i love that about it
-i adore their group chat texts more than anything. i screenshot a lot of them LOL
- i loveee kris omg like he’s such a cutie pie i adore him
-fuck clause

i know exactly where this is going. but i know there will be at least one shocker in here and thats what im holding out for

i just read a few comments on when it first came out and like i’m not saying that the book is unrealistic like i personally just don’t prefer these kinda books. some ppl favour it more to connect w the characters in these situations but that’s just not me- i don’t just like fluff books not even close but this is too deep for me to feel heartbroken for- but i respect ppl who do and are in tears throughout yk

i hate to say it but this book is way too fucking depressing and disturbing. ik the majority of the reviews are high on here but truly like it’s so messed up - it may be written well but it’s too traumatic - like the other books were too but the level this one is like i just meh.

its the fact there’s a line when referring to ares saying « the guy on the bike would’ve made pro wrestlers run for mama » AND THE GUY WHO PLAYED ARES WAS EDGE?!? a pro flipping wrestler for those of you who don’t know wrestling 😂😂 how insane is that for all these years later after the book that they casted an actual pro wrestler for the part of ares 😭😭insanity, that detail. we love it

we are so back 😆😆😆 omfg the characters are just too funny like they knew what they wanted within the first 7% of the book LOL and went for it ! if i have to read another line with the reference of rhysand imma throw something like it’s okay to mention it once only but more…… meh . otherwise so cute 😍😍

i am having the most fun reading this book. also, have several predictions already, im sure im right on those but im trying not to get ahead of myself. im loving it starting from the one page prologue that immediately took my attention. heheheheheheh
