So some weird reason, Goodreads isn't let me rate or review the book. So I'll add something here for now. To keep it short, Loved the book! I so enjoy when David Barker & W. H. Pugmire write a novelle together. You feel the love for their craft and for Lovecraft's stories in there writing, Just as I did with "Witches in Dreamland". It just a fun little gem, how will delight any fan of Lovecraft's stories.

Finally started my reading of this book. Again I can't belief I didn't pick up this book in almost 2 years. My last update before today was in October 2024. I'm still loving the writing. Barker and Pugmire write sp well together. I look forward to finishing the book either tonight or tomorrow.

It's been 3 years, it was in 2023, when I last picked up this book... Three years.. Really? It does not feel like it. I still remember this story so clearly. I have no idea why I haven't picked it up for so long. I'm still enjoying my time with it, now that I reading from It's pages again. I still like Ryan's style of writing, the characters and the world-building. It just so weird I didn't touch it for so long.

This is a interesting story so far. It's a bit of a adventure story at the moment, mixed with what feels like weird fiction/cosmic horror elements. A finding Adam makes at the North Pole, gave me "Dagon" vibes. I'm interested to see where that might lead to.
