Definitely more interested than before, but still mainly really only care for Emery.

They’ve grown on me, especially Emery. Poor Emery.

So far the most interesting thing that’s happened or been said thus far is that Emery is related to Hellebore and Morcant, and wants to kill them.

It got even better!! The twist with the rubies from the last section and them being a bigger part in the 50 pages I read today. Also Evander not really being real, being made of plants?, and Laurie coming to save him. Oh boy things just got complicated

It was good before but now it’s even better. The things we found out, the garden becoming more unhinged, the family that hates Laurie but loves Evander (all weirdos I say).

A small little twist. A scene into the past. Ideas coming to be.

Loving this so far. The vibes immaculate, the character traumatized, and a yearning that will sink under his skin very soon. As well as a weird creepy garden trying to get in.

Not me deciding to read more, first it was a good idea I got a nice fade to black smut scene. Then they got sent to do a mission. How that ends up being, horrible. Ó Connor’s a traitor and Clía kills him saving Ronan. I’m in tears bc Ó Connor was such a parental figure to Clía and I liked him a lot.

Another kiss, yay!

Why am I here, just to suffer

Two kisses and a sword as gift with the crystal she got from the first quest. Amazing, the tension, the yearning, I love it. And it’s not too fast, months of training or whatever.

Linden slapping Briar in the face pissed me off, and yet Briars still leaving him just because he found the cure even though Briar loves Rowan truly. I get it but I’m still angry at Linden, his actions throughout this book have made me mad I knew he had something he wasn’t telling Briar about.

Also every time since like the beginning-ish meeting with Linden or when Briar and Rowan’s relationship began, I keep saying ew to Linden touching Briar in any way. Linden unsettles me and I hate him more and more reading on. Love Rowan to bits, need him and Briar together again soon. Then Rowan comes again to say something but Linden interrupts. I’m mad, they could’ve gotten together again. 3/3

Poor Rowan, his father sucks. Linden still accuses. Then a happy moment with Briar and Rowan’s family. So cute. Then Briar’s seizure happens and now he only has 6 months to live. Then Briar breaks it off with Rowan, which makes both Rowan and me sad. Briar’s body keeps dwindling and it sucks to see. Then Linden comes over to help Briar and they start courting. Tears, not happy ones from me. 2/?

So much happened in like 75 pages. First Briar got into a Situationship with Rowan (yay), he was happy. Then Lindens here making me mad bc his first offer for Briar was horrible and not worth it, the second was too but less-ish. I keep hating how he thinks that Linden is his prophecy man and not Rowan but whatever. 1/?

Omg the way Domhnall went about breaking this not yet engagement was so bad. I felt Clío’s anger like as if I was there. Didn’t realize this would be duo pov but I like it for now.
