The Immortal - Interesting first impression of Borges. A line puzzles me, "someone is no one" I struggle with that. How could one who has lived through centuries believe themselves to be no one? Maybe the knowledge that every person you meet will only exist in a small moment of time compared to your eternal life. The narrator is a paradox, identifying themselves as both no one- and everyone all at once.

Honestly I was getting a little bit bored during the latter half of book 2 but that last chapter really blew me away. The fact this was written in the 60s is so insane to me. Very excited to start book 3 I feel like this one is going to be very exciting

Good, wording is classically confusing, but im still understanding whats happening and enjoying it, I actually think its quite funny the way Ishmael describes and reacts to things he sees, such as the all black church he thought was a tavern
