(Ch 1) Interesting start! I like the contrast between Narcissus’ firm grip on his future and never messing up and Goldmund’s beginning at school when he got in a fight. I can see the Abbot leaning more toward Goldmund in the future since he said he was worried that Narcissus hasn’t gotten in trouble as a youth yet…we will see

I also like the beginning when it opens with the tree—a symbol of change. Hmmm…

Excited to reread bc the new movie 4 this book looks so bad

This book is so well written and alluring---it makes me sooo inspired to write my own. I basically thought of all that in like second grade doe. Lol #thoughtsfromawoman #nirvana #peace

The way he talks about women is so beautiful. There cannot be revolution without women's emancipation!!!!! Very insightful so far.
