Good, workmanlike read so far. I've skipped forward a couple chapters and found the contents ok. Admittedly a little dry but gives a good overview - not sure why some reviews are so negative. As an audiobook I agree it's probably pretty deadly but as a straightforward factual summary it's better than a lot of history books I've tried to read in the past. Early days - I'll update when I've got half way.
