this is so corny 💀 no wonder i liked it when i was a teenager, but its an easy read and just interesting enough for me to want to finish it

um why did this open with a character relationship map saying that 3 characters are already dead ?? i get that it’s supposed to make it easier for the reader to understand the relationship between each character but id rather read about it then have it shown to me like this

so glad i finally started reading this! the premise is very interesting and i’m curious how the author wrote 5 books with the same idea (?) but ill focus on this book for now and the other remaining stories

i highkey do not have the mental capacity to read something like this right now, so it might be a dnf (for now) BUT I REALLY WANT TO READ IT

Her childhood was so traumatizing and the world continued to be cruel to her. The audacity of her disgusting father to deny molesting, assaulting, raping, and trafficking his own daughter to a friend to do the same.

The beginning was fine but now every scene is rushed to get to the sex where I did not expect there to be SO much of. Watching their relationship in the show, it was more sweet and endearing, and I don’t remember Kip saying the f word once so I guess it wasn’t as faithful as I thought. The whole “love at first sight” trope is so unrealistic too… might be a dnf for me, I’ll give it a few more chapters
