I am in love with this book. It seems a bit like a boring story but the author keeps me interested on every page. I am on the edge of my seat. The translation is also beautiful.

I am really enjoying this book. It is addicting but confusing to understand the way it’s written. At first I thought it was a mistake. But in some odd way it makes sense. I understand it very well now.

Wonderful. A missing purse. And still I have no idea where the ending is going. We have been stuck on Kolya and Ippolit and consumption drama for what seems like forever. And this whole last chapter was just about Lebedyev being annoying.

this book… will be the death of me

Read a decent bit today even tho it was only 2%. I’ve been researching this book to help me get through it and actually met a Russian lady tonight that said everyone in Russia reads Crime and Punishment by the same author. It’s going to take me a while to want to read that one…

I’m finally on part 4. I can’t believe how long it is taking me to finish this book. I am DETERMINED to finish.
